I can't believe how fast Anime Detour went by!! I did not get to spend enough time with my convention friends, so I'm still really sad about that... Luckily I'll be able to hoard them all at WW and ACen! I'm thinking that I only want to do Wizard World for a single day, especially considering that we won't be staying at a hotel, and parking at/near the convention center is horrible... I'm hoping to get my Majestic Light Armor finished for WW, but I might be wing-less.

For ACen I'm starting on the Attack on Titan Loli uniform by the amazing aryllins

I already have fabric for the shirt, skirt and cape... I need to find organdy for a good price though, cause I'm gonna make the cutest petticoat of all time!!

I had the most AMAZING time at Katsucon 2014! Can't wait to start posting photos of my cosplays! Photos I took will all be up on cosplayconnection.net/blog/ as soon as we fix the site's caching issues >.>

I wasn't able to finish one of my cosplays in time, so I ended up bringing Hinoto (and I got some BREATHTAKING photos with her!!) and of course Sakizou's March Hare. I was interviewed by Cosplay in America on Saturday morning if you want to watch it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrwLjJ…

The Better Half of 2013

2013 has been an absolutely brilliant year so far! I've attended Anime Detour, Anime Central, AniMinneapolis and CONvergence. Unfortunately due to a professional disagreement with AniMinneapolis, I am no longer running the cosplay masquerade for them or MetaCon.

Most of the large cons are over or close, and unfortunately I can't make it to Otakon this year

though I do still have MetaCon, Anime Fusion and possibly Daishocon... Nothing wrong with small cons I suppose.

I'm already starting to plan out my cons and cosplays for next year, even though I only finished my Guinevere cosplay days ago. I didn't have a photoshoot scheduled at CONvergence, so I'm going to have to set something up to get pictures of it.

Tentative plans for 2014: Katsucon, Anime Detour, Anime Central, CONvergence, San Diego Comic Con, Otakon, possibly Dragon Con and PAX East, depending on the official dates. I have my costumes for Anime Detour planned out, but I'll probably be slowing down on the costuming since it's really sucking up 100% of my free time, and they never seem to get worn twice

Anime Detour 2013
